DNS propagation check

What is DNS propagation

DNS propagation is the process of updating DNS records across global DNS servers after changes are made to a domain.

When you change a DNS record, such as an A record or MX record, it can take time for the changes to propagate across the internet.

During this time some users may still see the old DNS record while others see the updated one.

Why DNS propagation takes time

DNS servers cache records for a period defined by the TTL (time to live). Until the cache expires, DNS resolvers may continue returning the previous record.

DNS propagation can take from a few minutes to several hours depending on the TTL configuration and DNS provider.

Network Diagnostic Tools

iptest.pro provides a collection of network diagnostic tools that help developers, system administrators and network engineers troubleshoot connectivity issues and inspect internet infrastructure.

The available tools include DNS lookup, reverse DNS resolution, SSL certificate inspection, open port testing and IP geolocation.

These tools can be used directly in the browser or via command line using curl and other HTTP clients.
